One common misconception – a lot of people think zoom lenses are used for taking photos of things far away. That’s actually a better description of a telephoto lens. Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM L is one of main stream pro grade lenses in the Canon line up and very popular among pro photographers (especially press) as well as serious amateurs. On APS-C DSLRs its field-of-view resembles a classic 39-112mm lens on full-frame cameras which isn’t terribly useful to start with. Here it shows that this lens was designed for full-frame (D)SLRs. Incorporates many advanced and exclusive Canon Lens.

you can get best offer at http://sumonner.zlio.net/

Technologies to provide improved performance, including the use of two different types of Aspherical lens elements, and a totally new UD (Ultra-Low Dispersion) glass element for obtaining sharper image quality. Canon’s original ring USM (Ultrasonic Motor) makes autofocusing fast, accurate and silent, down to a reduced minimum focusing distance of just 15 inches. The Lens is now sealed against dust and moisture.

With a weight of 950g and a size of 83x123mm it is quite a bit heavier and bigger than many third party alternatives but comparable to similar lenses made by other genuine brand manufacturers.
The lens has a reverse zooming mechanism so it extends towards the wide end of the range. It is shortest at 70mm. While this may seem odd at first the system makes sense when attaching the deep flower-shaped hood which remains highly effective at all focal lengths. So with attached hood the size of the package remains constant. Still it would be nice if such a lens would not extend at all during zooming. The front element does not rotate during focusing there’re no issues when using a polarizer – without hood that is.The optical construction is made of 16 elements in 13 groups, including one UD elements and two aspherical elements. The elements are made of lead-free glass. The min. focus distance is 0.39m resulting is a max. object magnification of ~1:3.3 at 70mm. The lens features 8 circular aperture blades. The filter size is 77mm.

The lens has a ring-type USM drive based on a front-focusing system resulting in an extremely fast AF speed. As usual for modern ring-type USM lenses full-time manual focusing is always possible in one-shot AF mode. Probably the perfect lens for full frame cameras. Not so useful for cropped cameras as it converts to a 39-112mm. There’s noticeable barrel distortion at 24mm and vignetting is pretty bad wide open. But the copy I have is tack sharp…almost too sharp for portraits. F2.8 is great for low light shooting as well. Front Focusing method, UD (Ultra Low Dispersion) Glass, Weight2.1 lbs./ 950g, Filter Size77mm, Closest Focusing 0..38m / 1.25 ft.

Zoom lenses require fewer sensor-dust-collecting lens changes – and fewer lenses to carry. Lens changes are inconvenient and take time – and provide opportunity for dust to get to the sensor. On the other hand, some zoom lenses move air in/out and can be a source of dust themselves.

In recent years, the general public has heavily embraced zoom lenses. This is reflected in the new lenses Canon has introduced. Since 1999 (when Canon refreshed its Super Telephoto lens line), zoom lenses have been introduced much more frequently than fixed focal length lenses.

you can get best offer at http://sumonner.zlio.net/

performance of the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 USM IS came as a total surprise. Unlike its predecessor the lens is capable to produce a very high performance throughout the zoom range without the significant drop in quality at 300mm typical for most consumer grade lenses in this range. It seems as if the new UD element helps to lift the optical quality significantly. Distortions, CAs as well as vignetting are also very respectable. So in terms of optical quality the EF 70-300mm IS can be almost described as a hidden Canon L lens. As much as it may promise here its build quality remains in line to what you can expect from a consumer grade lens and the small max. aperture is limiting its scope specifically regarding portraits where you seek for a pronounced fore-/background blurr only possible via large apertures (f/2.8 and larger). However, if you’re looking for a very good, light-weight tele zoom e.g. for travel photography this lens should be high on your shopping list. EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM telephoto zoom lens has been developed to meet the high-performance standards that today’s photographers demand. Improved Image Stabilizer Technology provides up to three stops of “shake” correction, and the “Mode 2″ option stabilizes images while panning with a moving subject. Compared to the original Canon EF 75-300mm IS zoom lens, this telephoto lens has faster autofocus, and overall the lens is lighter and has a smaller diameter than the original. The zoom ring can be locked at the 70mm position, making this powerful lens easy to transport, too..

The lens has been improved in a number of ways. The most significant change is a redesign of the optical construction which now features a UD element – something that we usually only see in Canon L grade lenses.
The AF speed has been significantly improved to a very decent level without being as fast as ring-type USM lenses. Thanks to a micro-USM drive the noise level is very low. The lens does not feature FTM (full-time manual focusing in AF mode) though. Due to the rather slow max. aperture the EOS 350D had sometimes a hard time to find a really accurate focus at 300mm – this is not specific to this lens though.
One key selling factor for this lens is naturally the Image Stabilizer (IS). Camera motion is detected by 2 gyro sensors which measure the angle and speed of the shake. This information is used to shift a lens group off the optical axis (basically a forced decentering) to counteract this motion. The result is a significant improvement of handholdibility under extreme conditions. Canon improved the efficiency of the mechanism to an equivalent of 3 f-stops (up from 2 f-stops).
The IS now offers 2 different modes (instead of just one):

-mode (1) for static scenes where the IS corrects shake both vertically as well as horizontally

-mode (2) for action photography (object tracking) where only vertical shake is corrected

features

Locking zoom ring prevents lens from extending when carried on camera
Comaptible with any Canon EOS body, film or digital
UD (Ultra-Low Dispersion) glass element: less color fringing and better contrast
Image Stabilization for sharper hand held images – up to 3 srop correction
New: IS “Mode 2″ for deliberate panning with a moving subject
Optical Coatings optimized for digital SLR use
Faster AF operation than previous EF 75-300 IS – new lens CPU and electronics
Circular aperture design for natural-shaped out-of-focus highlights

Lens changes are inconvenient and take time – and provide opportunity for dust to get to the sensor. On the other hand, some zoom lenses move air in/out and can be a source of dust themselves.

In recent years, the general public has heavily embraced zoom lenses. This is reflected in the new lenses Canon has introduced. Since 1999 (when Canon refreshed its Super Telephoto lens line), zoom lenses have been introduced much more frequently than fixed focal length lenses.

you can get best offer at http://sumonner.zlio.net/

USM refers to the autofocus motor type used by the lens. In this case it uses an ultrasonic motor – see below. Non-L USM lenses are marked with a characteristic gold stripe around the end of the lens barrel. L lenses usually have USM motors, but have a red stripe instead (ie: the red stripe takes priority and you don’t see lenses with two stripes).

Ø72mm refers to the filter ring diameter. In other words, screw-on filters 72mm in diameter will fit this lens, making it a fairly large lens.

Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens holds a wide focal length range in a compact and inexpensive package.

In addition to the wide focal length range, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens features a wide zoom ring. Actually, the zoom ring encompasses most of the lens and is its biggest physical feature. For the casual photographer, that is a good thing.

What the more discerning photographer will notice is that zoom ring is stiff and not real smooth. And the focal length does not actually change much in the last (upper) 30mm or so on the zoom ring. With the large size of the zoom ring, the manual focus ring is – by necessity – tiny (and not easy to use). There is no distance window (or space to have put one).

Overall, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens’ build quality is mediocre. It sports a metal lens mount like the best, but the rest of the lens is just average for a consumer grade lens.

For its size, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens is relatively heavy. It feels short, fat and hefty. It is not a heavy lens, but heavy for its compact size. Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens is a slow lens with an aperture that starts at f/4, goes to f/4.5 around 45mm, to f/5 around 55mm and to f/5.6 somewhere in the 80mm neighborhood. The 28-200 aperture is a lower-end 6-blade design.

It is hard to argue with the excellent focal length range provided by the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens. There are a lot of subjects that fit between 28mm and 200mm.

With a maximum magnification of .28x, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens will capture rather small and close subjects (as close as 1.5′) reasonably well.

Overall, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens optically disappoints. but a handy, compact zoom lens for versatile and easy subject selection while travelling, etc. very helpfull to make highest optical performance in its class, plus the convenience of focusing up to 17.7 in. over the entire zooming range. The micro USM drive provides silent, high-speed autofocusing, plus the wide zooming range provides an easy, enjoyable picture-taking experience.

I have heard.. photographers talk about using strictly one fixed focal length lens to spur creativity. I don’t agree with that reasoning as you can just as easily spend a day with your zoom lens set to a single focal length. Just use a little non-marking tape to fix your zoom lens at that focal length. Then spend the next day at a different focal length if the basic premise helps you. Of course, when the shot-of-a-lifetime happens upon you, you can break your promise to yourself and zoom to the proper focal length to capture it! Some also say that all images start looking the same when shot with a single prime lens.

you can get best offer at http://sumonner.zlio.net/

Image Stabilization (IS) is a great feature. On the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens, IS lets you handhold two f-stops faster than without this feature. It costs a lot of money to buy a lens with a 2-stop faster aperture. Of course, IS is not everything – and cannot create background blur or stop action like a faster lens. Keep in mind that the version of IS on this lens needs to be turned off when tripod-mounted. Not doing so may cause the image stabilizer to act erratically.

Build quality of the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens is OK but not excellent. This is a medium weight lens. The zoom and focus rings are not smooth. It does feel more solid than the canon EF 75-300mm III but is also larger and heavier.

Image quality from the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens is mediocre and very similar to the canon EF 75-300mm III. The IS version had slightly more corner softness.

Like the canon EF 75-300mm III. the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens is soft wide open at all focal lengths. Sharpness decreases as it zooms from 70mm to 300mm. However, the corners are softest at 70 and getting better by 300.

Corner and center softness decrease as the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens is stopped down.

Stopping down a relatively slow lens means a lot of light (or a flash) is necessary for handheld photos. Handholding a slow lens at 300mm requires a lot of light to begin with. IS comes to the rescue here if your subject is not moving fast.

Some pincushioning is visible at 300mm.

Focus speed is OK, but not fast. Micro USM (Ultrasonic Motor) is not as fast as Canon’s excellent Ring USM. FTM (Full-Time Manual) focusing is not part of the package. My kids could easily outrun the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens’s focusing capabilities even when mounted on a Canon pro camera body.

An 8-bladed aperture is a nice touch. Generally speaking, more aperture blades yield more-round out of focus highlights. Of course, rounded aperture blades are better the straight ones.

Some photographers only need one focal length for most of their work. If this is the case for you, a fixed focal length lens likely makes the most sense. Pick the one that is best for you.

The lens provides high image quality resolution, contrast & flatness of image field. Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 USM II is typically sold as part of a two lens kits with entry level DSLRs.
“How to where we are?”

Benefits of GPS in the car .. So remember to play Grand Teft Auto, Burnout, Grand Turismo on Playstation they all have GPS to quickly reach the destination and not lost. Approximately the same if we use the GPS unit to help us find the location when the destination drive. I think the GPS maps show only the course, can in fact more than that, and it is very interesting and helpful.

I want to glimpse the story about the GPS to be more complete.

you can get best offer at http://sumonner.zlio.net/

GPS unit is the recipient of the GPS satellite signal. GPS satellites themselves have about 24 units (there are several backup satellites) are assigned encircle the earth 2 times a day. Signals that tell by the satellite-received by the satellite before the GPS unit. Minimum required 3 satellite signals that GPS unit can calculate and translate, the result is the location / position us in the face of the earth. Namely the form of Longitude and Latitude data, if there are 4 satellite signals, the GPS unit can generate information altitude (altitude above sea level).

If we move (move from one place to another), the GPS unit also calculated .. so that he will display the information Speed (speed). Oh yes, besides the function as a compass determines the direction of the GPS unit.

GPS itself does not require registration fees or other permission, this is a free service and honorable that we can to take advantage of the various interests. So by buying GPS units, we can directly relate to the GPS satellites and get the location information when our GPS. Something shows the way that the road is closed or jammed, so we turn or choose another way (do not obey the recommended GPS) … then immediately the GPS will think again and immediately show the next road after we replace the path before, towards the final goal line. Every time we do not keep the GPS proposal, he will continue to try to find the road that could be next, despite the small road. Ingenuity of the GPS to find an alternative way is very impressive.

“Where we want to eat?”

“Shopping in the nearest?”

“where is Near the ATM where?”

“where there is a gasoline?”

“where’s the cops (ups..)?

very simple right?

Talk about simple. The portable StreetPilot c530 comes ready-to-go right out of the box with preloaded maps and plenty of options.Monitor traffic tie-ups with the addition of an optional traffic receiver. In select metro areas, with the addition of the GTM 20 FM TMC traffic receiver, the SteetPilot c530 notifies you of accidents, road construction, and weather-related traffic delays before they are encountered, and then offers an alternate route. Simply touch the screen icon to calculate a new route. The c530 comes with preloaded maps and includes automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, and turn-by-turn voice directions that speak street names – making navigation easy. It also accepts customized points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras.Optional software available on plug-in SD cards, lets you instantly add new features to your c530 – without connecting to your computer.

with touch screen display Street pilot c530 The c530 includes set with a new high-sensitivity WAAS-capable GPS receiver by SiRF, a touch screen, automotive-grade, sunlight-readable, anti-glare TFT LCD display (320 x 240 pixels). The included rechargeable battery last up to 8 hours between charges. This Garmin StreetPilot c530 GPS Vehicle Navigator is a bilingual edition.

now.. are u ready to hang around.
